Nah, only kidding!
Actually, I’ve decided to move the blog to wordpress… Why? Well I’m tired of having problems logging into blogger, and replying to posts… it’s been months now that they’ve had issues with certain users having difficulty and I think it’s about time it was sorted.
So instead I’ve decided to up sticks and move, also because wordpress allows users to reply directly to comments… it makes it much easier to reply to someone personally rather than just making a general reply.
The entire blog is moving, I’ve imported all my old posts and comments; so everything is still there to be seen. The blog is different, as yet I haven't worked out how to customise the coding for myself; it looks like you have to pay just to be able to edit html/CSS, so that is one negative.
To those of you following me, please update your favourites to http://gwirrel.wordpress.com
Thanks! And I’ll see you on the other side :)

Oh, dear. You had me scare for a minute - thought you were quitting completely. Look forward to seeing your garden in a new format. P. x
Congrats! I would be lying if I said I hadn't considered the same thing...blogger has been a bit of a pain this past year! Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Oh no! Not threads! (Is that what they are called?) I get completely lost with them and conversations go adrift. Will the text be bigger?

Welcome to Wordpress! I love it personally, but I'm a bit of a control freak, so like that I have complete control over my blog. Thanks for the leaving your forwarding address!
I've thought about it many times and regretted not going the Wordpress route to start with! I will watch with interest.
I've been thinking about it too. Yet I'm not ready at the moment to take on a change like that.
Enough to worry about without a moving blog.
Reading the other comments, it is funny how most of them feel the same way about Blogger v Wordpress.
Well, I''ll see how you get on.
And we'll find you on your new address.
What a shame you've had problems Liz. I must be lucky as Blogger's been fine for me.
As a dual WP and Blogger blogger, I feel compelled to say WP isn't quite what it's made out to be, unless you want start paying the extras. Just like most things in life there's pros and cons to both platforms.
Here's hoping it works well for you :)
